President's Message

 We will be holding a Shamrock Degree during the May meeting.  If anyone is eligible to receive this degree please notify me ASAP so we can plan appropriately.   Food and beverages will be provided.  Furthermore, if any member would like to receive his Major degree please let me know as they will be holding one at the National Convention.

In regards to the National AOH Convention we need your help selling the convention pins that we have designed.  In addition, the State AOH committee is requesting our assistance for the positions of greeters, registration, security, and masses assistants.  I will have a signup sheet at the meeting.  

We are also finalizing plans to host a night on Varick Street during the convention.  This will occur on Tuesday, July 10^th.  Busses from the Turning Stone will arrive on Varick St at around 6:30pm and depart from Utica around 9:30pm.  Events will include Brewery tours, and entertainment at the Celtic Harp.  Details will be reveled at the meeting. 

Brothers, I cannot stress enough the significance of the National Convention that will be held in our backyard.  It is extremely important to help make this successful by assisting at both the convention and our hosting night on July 10^th. This is a one-time opportunity for our division to shine.  Hopefully the majority of you can assist and attend.  The state has worked extremely hard to ensure this is will be a memorable event.

Lastly, we are still in search for a Vice President.  In order to hold this position you must have your Major Degree.  If you are considering this and do not have your Major Degree one will be held at the Turning Stone in July.  Please see Mike Dwyer or myself if interested.
